THE week after we got back we met our good friends the Wahlquists at MacQueen's apple orchard. We went every year to Mac Queens when we lived in Toledo, so it was fun to relive the tradition and having our good friends there made it even more fun.
as soon as we returned from Washington DC the kids started school at their new school called, Harlan. They were very welcoming to us. It was inspiring to me all the parent involvement and how they have created such a good educational environment for their children. So a week into school we went to say farewell to mom and dad, they left Tokyo on a mission. i am so proud of Mom and Dad but I miss them. We had a fun girl's night out. We went to Gardner village and to THE WORLD OF DANCE.
We took a trip to Washington DC. The Low point was when we found a cockroach in our lasagna at the Embassy Suites hotel's Italian restaurant. The high point was when we visited our good friends The Marrs. We had a great time and it was so good to see them again. I miss being able to see them on a daily basis.
