New Home in Michigan

A lot has happened! I miss my friends in Tennessee, I couldn't have done it without you! Thanks y'all for your help. It was funny the other day, here in Michigan, the librarian said she could detect my southern accent. June has flown by,we took a trip to Louisville, KY the first of June, while Aaron took the boards the kids and I went to the Kentucky Derby Museum. Aaron Passed! He is now a board certified Radiologist. Then we drove to Michigan and found a house. The next week we spent packing up our rental home in Tennessee. The last night in Tennessee a Tornado blew through and knocked out our power for 12 hours.

We took off the next day for Missouri, we stopped off at the St. Louis zoo, the highlights of our visit to the zoo were the rhinos mating and petting the sting rays. We then went to Aaron's parents home in Macon Mo. We stayed in a 2 story cabin in southern Missouri. Sam tripped over the balcony on the second floor and fell two stories down. Thank goodness Aunt Charity caught him! It was a miracle! Charity is our hero this year, last year Rob saved Sam.

Our moving truck was delayed 2 days in driving up to Michigan so we stayed a couple extra days with Aaron's family. We went and visited grandpa and grandma Ware on the farm. The kids had fun fishing, playing with cousins, picking berries roasting hot dogs on a fire and pulling out ticks.

We have finally arrived in Michigan safe but not quite sound, we are recovering from a few injuries hopefully we will get insurance soon. The Elders quorum and Becky came and rescued us and helped us unload. The church has been nothing but a blessing in my life. I didn't know anyone in Detroit yet we had so many people who were willing to help us.

I love our cute little house, it is tidy and lots of cupboards and custom cabinents and places to organize things. I also love our community, it is one of the top 20 most walkable cities in America. Birmingham is really a cute town, our neighbors as well as the people at church have been very friendly and helpful.
